To request that the St. Mary's University Blume Library purchase a book or other item, enter the appropriate information in the boxes below. Since funds are
limited, we can't promise to purchase every request but we do give every request serious consideration. If your department requires prior authorization from the library liaison or department head, please get the proper permission before submitting a request.

You must be affiliated with St. Mary's University in order to make a request to add an item to the library. Requests should fall within the guidelines of the Library's Collection Development Policy.
You may want to search the St. Mary's online catalog first or search for the item you want in
other area libraries. WorldCat is a catalog that searches many libraries at the same time. Search for your item, give your general location, and WorldCat indicates what libraries closest to you hold the item. You can search without logging in, or, you can create an account to save your results.

If you need a book immediately, the Blume Library has purchased a collection of more than 60,000 eBooks from Ebsco Ebooks online in full text. For off-campus access to these eBooks, use the remote access server.
If you want to purchase a book for yourself, try one of the online book sellers such as
Amazon.com, Borders, or Barnes & Noble.
If the item you are requesting is not a book, please note in the "Comments" section what kind of item item it is, i.e., DVD, CD, etc. If you found the item at Amazon.com or some other website, you can paste the link in the "Comments" section.
