Petsmart Charities grant


    Petsmart Charities awarded a $40,000 grant to the Animal Welfare Society to spay/neuter/vaccinate free-roaming cats in the 78228 zip code. Through our participation in this grant, For Paws sterilized, vaccinated, and ear-tipped 16 (6 females, 10 males) more neighborhood cats during the period of November 18, 2011 to December 17, 2011. One was adopted and the rest were returned to their tapped location. Our thanks to Petsmart Charities and the Animal Welfare Society for including us in this grant.


    Gracie was rescued on 11/18/11. She was spayed, vaccinated, and eartipped. Gracie was returned to hertrapped location.



    Red Bud, Robin, Rojo, Sherbert, and Tab were rescued on 12/3/11. They were spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and eartipped. All were returned to their trapped location.



    Abraham and Sara were rescued on 12/5/11. They were spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and eartipped. They were returned to their trapped location.



    Swifty was rescued on 12/6/11. He was neutered, vaccinated, and eartipped. Swifty was returned to histrapped location.



    Darrell and Larry were rescued on 12/12/11. They were neutered, vaccinated, and eartipped. Darrell and Larry were returned to their trapped location.



    Big Red was rescued on 12/18/11. He was neutered, vaccinated, and eartipped. Big Red was returned to histrapped location.



    Big Daddy, Curly Ear, Fluffer and Maggie were rescued on 12/17/11. They were spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and eartipped. All were returned to their trapped location.
