Petsmart Charities grant


    Petsmart Charities awarded a $40,000 grant to the Animal Welfare Society to spay/neuter/vaccinate free-roaming cats in the 78228 zip code. Through our participation in this grant, For Paws sterilized, vaccinated, and ear-tipped 46 (26 females, 20 males) more neighborhood cats during the period of January 7, 2012 to May 19, 2012. One was adopted and the rest were returned to their tapped location. Our thanks to Petsmart Charities and the Animal Welfare Society for including us in this grant.


    Buriser, Slugger, and Tuxie were rescued on 5/19/12. They were neutered, vaccinated, and eartipped. Bruiser, Slugger, and Tuxie were returned to their trapped location.



    Mama Cat and Minnie were rescued on 5/17/12. They were spayed, vaccinated, and eartipped. Mama Cat and Minnie were returned to their trapped location.



    Lily was rescued on 5/16/12. She was spayed, vaccinated, and eartipped. Lily was returned to her trapped location.



    Cuba was rescued on 5/14/12. She was spayed, vaccinated, and eartipped. Cuba was returned to her trapped location.



    Mamacita was rescued on 5/12/12. She was spayed, vaccinated, and eartipped. Mamacita was returned to her trapped location.



    Pearl was rescued on 5/5/12. She was spayed, vaccinated, and eartipped. Pearl was returned to her trapped location.



    Fred and Boris were rescued on 4/10/12. They were neutered, vaccinated, and eartipped. Fred and Boris were returned to their trapped location.



    David was rescued on 3/24/12. He was neutered, vaccinated, and eartipped. David was returned to his trapped location.



    Patchy was rescued on 3/15/12. She was spayed, vaccinated, and eartipped. Patchy was returned to her trapped location.

    Biscuit, Tyson, and Jackie were rescued on 3/13/12. They were spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and eartipped. Biscuit, Tyson, and Jackie were returned to their trapped location.



    Alley Cat, Gray Kitty, Gray Mama, J.C., Lion, Tom, and Tortitab were rescued on 3/1/12. They were spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and eartipped. Alley Cat, Gray Kitty, Gray Mama, J.C. Lion, Tom, and Tortitab were returned to their trapped location.




    Luna, Princessa, Sol, and Tigre were rescued on 2/25/12. They were spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and eartipped. They were returned to their trapped location.



    Beauty, Cutie, and Yellow Eyes were rescued on 2/22/12. They were spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and eartipped. They were returned to their trapped location.



    Bigote, Chaplin, Sad Eye, and Tortitab were rescued on 2/14/12. They were spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and eartipped. They were returned to their trapped location.



    Pinta was rescued on 2/13/12. She was spayed,vaccinated, and eartipped. Pinta was returned to her trapped location.



    Tuff Guy was rescued on 2/6/12. He was neutered, vaccinated, and eartipped. Tough Guy was returned to his trapped location.



    Fabio and Monica were rescued on 1/26/12. They were spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and eartipped. Fabio and Monica were returned to their trapped location.



    Callista and Newt were rescued on 1/24/12. They were spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and eartipped. Callista and Newt were returned to their trapped location.
