Subject: Slim Update

Slim is another of the feral campus kittens we've encountered over the last few months. After her spaying and release, Slim was a sad, skinny figure lurking in the Treadaway parking lot; she wouldn't or couldn't eat with the Treadaway duo nor the Blume colony. Finally, we created her own private feeding station, and Slim is filling out nicely—and is as feral as ever. Thanks for your support.

Subject: Today's Campus Kitten

A wise friend recommends a kitten-a-day picture to keep us going through Study Week. So here is today's kitten: Tippy. Any clue as to how she got her name?

Subject: Wednesday's Campus Kitten

Tyler is the presumed sibling of Tippy (she of the white-tipped tail). Like his sib, Tyler is not tame but is well-fed and much admired from afar. How did Tyler get his name? Hint: think of an old political slogan.

Subject: Jockette

Three weeks ago, Jockette was a feral campus kitten. Then came trapping, surgery, and now fostering. From being gaunt and fearful, the little orange tabby has made a lot of progress, and we hope to have the little cutie available for adoption in the coming weeks. Today's quiz: How did Jockette get that name? (Hint: Think location and a common misperception about orange tabby cats.) Thanks for your support.
