Subject: Campus Cat Residents

Hi. Check out our webpage to see current photos and bios of feline residents:
Campus Cat Residents
How many cats do you recognize? Probably the most-rarely seen and least-known cat is Thomasina; she's lived on campus seven years and has never been touched by humans. However, she clearly has been fed by humans and is proof that life in a managed cat colony has its benefits.

Subject: Great News!

All six kittens are in the S.C.A.T. program which operates the cat adoption centers in various Petsmart stores around town. Big thanks to the Lucios for fostering, incoming freshman Annie Sandoval & family for offering to fostering, and Cindy Stooksberry for her feline intervention. Thanks for your support and all the great naming suggestions.

Subject: T-Shirt Sale

Hello. We have 8 small t-shirts in the colors shown in the photo (no other sizes or colors available). We'd like to move these on to make room for a new design coming out soon, so prices are reduced to $8.00 per shirt or 2 for $12.00. Going, going, gone.

Thanks for your support.

Subject: CF Six (Charles Francis Kittens)

The CF Six are safely ensconced in the Lucio Home for Wayward Kitties until permanent homes can be found. At the vet's office yesterday, we put masking tape on the kittens to identify Males 1, 2, 3, and Females 1 and 2. But Nettie--being Nettie--quickly created expandable blue collars for the males and pink for the females.

And the kitten without a collar? We caught #6 when we got back from the vet, so we're not yet sure of its gender. We've named it Chaz.

Please start spreading the word about the kittens. We'll try all our usual adoption sources, but we really need your help to cast a wide net. Thanks for your support.

Subject: Charles Francis Kittens

The pictures tell the story: these SIX black kittens were found in a downspout at Charles Francis. They are 5-6 weeks old, combo tested negative, and healthy. Fosters and/or adopters desperately needed.

Subject: Meet Tasha & Pancho Update

Tasha has been hanging around Treadaway, crying piteously. The 1.5 year-old female is thin but friendly; she probably had a home at one time. Thanks to a tip from a caring student, I rounded up Tasha Friday night; she was spayed Saturday and just returned to campus. (The second photo shows her fierce Independence Day face as she stares down one of the cats at the feeding station.)

Fortunately for Tasha, there was a "vacancy" on campus because Pancho got a home! Our heartfelt thanks to Sherry Wood (Sciences) for finding the adopters and transporting Pancho to his new home. Anyone have any leads for a home for Tasha? Thanks for your support.
