Subject: Meet Curry

Curry was trapped on campus yesterday and was spayed and vaccinated the same day; she was returned to campus this morning. The orange tabby is a female, about 6 months old, and super friendly. She would make a great pet, so please spread the word, and let's see if we can find a home for Curry. Thanks for your support.

Subject: Only Two Left!

For Paws had a great weekend: three kittens adopted! But lucky for you potential adopters, we have two more available now. Siblings Topaz (m) and Jinksie (f) are three months old, sterilized, vaccinated, and ready to go. Please spread the word.

Subject: Community Cats

Through funding by PetSmart Charities, Best Friends Animal Society has received a $700,000 three-year grant to fund the "Community Cats Project" in San Antonio. This public-private partnership focuses on reducing euthanasia rates of free-roaming cats, commonly referred to as "community cats," in 14 San Antonio zip codes. This cool van is part of the grant. TNR works!

Subject: Kitten Season
These finely-fostered kittens will soon be ready for adoption. Claim yours now! (The white one has a potential adopter.) They will be fixed next week, so you can get your kitten supplies ready over the weekend and soon start enjoying the pitter-patter of tiny paws. If you're interested, call 436-3430 and ask for Nettie or Caroline. Thanks for your support.

Subject: Meet Primo

Last week we got a call that a cat was on the second floor of the Raba Building. He turned out to be a cat we had seen sporadically around campus for several months. Finally, the handsome long-haired Siamese mix was neutered, vaccinated--and adopted. Alas, Primo clearly did not want to be a house cat and is now back on campus. He chooses independence, but he's welcome at the feeding station with the other feline residents. Thanks for your support.
