Subject: Good Adoption News

Molly went to her forever home this week, and brother Freddie went to the Stray Cat Adoptions of Texas adoption program at Petsmart earlier in the week. We had five adoptions in May. Thanks to our adopters and to all who support us.

Subject: Meet Squeaker

Squeaker is a two-month-old dilute tortoiseshell (female, of course) who was found on campus this morning. She is very tame and appears fit and healthy. She’ll visit the vet later today for exam, kitten shots, flea meds, etc. After a time in foster care, Squeaker will be spayed and ready for her forever home. Please keep her in mind. Thanks for your support.

Subject: Skinny Update

Several people have asked about Skinny. All I can say is he’s still around and likely to turn up anywhere!

Subject: Meet Lucy

It's raining kittens! This adorable mostly-black kitten was rescued by students and is now in foster care. Lucy is very probably the sister of Squeaker who showed up a day or two earlier. They are the same size, are healthy and friendly, and will make wonderful pets. Please share Lucy's photo. Thanks for your support.

Subject: Lucy Update

Foster kitten Lucy stuck out her tongue when she learned she was going be combo tested, but she behaved like an angel with the vet. (And she tested negative for Feline AIDS and Feline Leukemia.) The Lucio grandchildren agree she is the best foster kitty ever--and that's saying a lot! Lucy should be available for adoption in 3-4 weeks, so please keep her in mind. Thanks for your support.

Subject: Incoming Cat Fans

I stopped by freshman registration in the Commons this Saturday and was delighted to hear one new student say to another: "I got to hang out with some of the cats." I don't know which cats—Tippy and OC, Thomasina and Devlin, etc.—but it's so encouraging to know that the students enjoy seeing the campus cats. Thanks for your support.
