Congressional District Atlas. C 3.282/5:108, 109 . Provides data by Congressional district in PDF and text format, suitable for exporting to a spreadsheet program.
Ethics CD. Y 3.ET 3:16/ . 2002. This title is received annually; the Library keeps only the latest edition. This CD may be used on computers near the Reference Desk by clicking on the Adobe Acrobat icon and opening the file E:WELCOME.PDF.
Electronic Return File Specifications and Record Layouts for Individual Income Tax Returns. T 22.69:EL 1/CD. This CD runs upon insertion.
Export Administration Regulations. C 63.25:EAR/4/2002/CD. This CD may be used on computers near the Reference Desk by clicking on the Adobe Acrobat icon and opening the file E:WELCOME.PDF.
Future of Social Security. Y 4. W 36:F 98. This CD may be used on computers near the Reference Desk by clicking on the Adobe Acrobat icon and opening the file E:WELCOME.PDF. The Library also has printed copies of the hearings on the CD; consult the public catalog for call numbers.
Green Book: Overview of Entitlement Programs. Y 4.W 36:10-7/994. 1994. Later editions are available through GPO Access. This CD may not be previewed on the computers near the Reference Desk; it requires special software.
Greening the Government. PRVP 42.17:G 83/2. This CD may be used on computers near the Reference Desk by clicking on the Adobe Acrobat icon and opening the file E:GREENGOV.PDF.
Harmonized Tariff Schedule. ITC 1.10/4:2004. This publication is also available in printed form in the Documents Stacks at ITC 1.10: and at the International Trade Commission website. To use the CD on computers near the Reference Desk, click on the Adobe Acrobat icon and open the file WELCOME.PDF, if the CD does not run upon insertion.
Internal Revenue Manual (IRS). T 22.2/15-3:2002. This manual is available in Windows and DOS versions. Neither may be previewed on the computers near the Reference Desk. They require special software.
Journals of the U.S. House of Representatives. XHJ: 102-1,2; 103-1,2; 104-1,2; 105-1,2; 106-1,2; 107-1,2; 108-1. To use these CDs on computers near the Reference Desk, click on the Adobe Acrobat icon and open the file E:WELCOME.PDF.
Preparation, Submission and Execution of the Budget. PREX 2.4:A-11/ . 2006. The CD requires special software which needs to be installed.
Privacy Act Issuances. 1993. AE 2.106/4-2: . There is a later printed edition in the Documents Stacks at AE 2.106/4: , and also on the Web through GPO Access. The CD may be used on computers near the Reference Desk by running software on the CD. Choose RUN from the START menu and run E:OMNISRCM.EXE; open the file OFR.RND.
Tax Products. T 22.51/4: 1999-2003. This CD contains forms, instructions, informational publications and Internal Revenue Bulletins for the years indicated. To use the CD, open the file WELCOME.PDF in Adobe Acrobat. NOTE: Exit the installation program that runs upon insertion of the CD.
Virtual Small Business Tax Workshop DVD. T 22.69:V 81/2006. This DVD requires installation of special software.
Whistleblower Library. L 1.89:W 57/CD. 1995. This CD may not be previewed on the computers near the Reference Desk; it requires special software.
U.S. Savings Bonds Payroll Savings Resource Guide. T 1.66:B 64. This CD runs upon insertion into the drive. Its content consists of HTM and Word files.
NOTE: These CDs may only be checked out by St. Mary's users (or by other college students/faculty/staff with a Texshare card) or by special arrangement with the Documents Librarian. The CDs have been tested only minimally by the Library staff, and we cannot provide technical support in their use. The Reference Librarians can help you find a source for technical support, if that information is not given with the CD, or contact the Documents Librarian for further information.
These CDs are kept in the office, in filing cabinets in the Documents area, filed by Superintent of Documents classification number (given with each title). You might not be able to check out a CD if you come to the library in the evening or on a weekend when the Documents Librarian is not in. If you need to use a CD the best thing to do is to contact the Documents Librarian in advance and the CD can be left at the Reference Desk for you to check out.
