1990 Meteorology Data. C 55.281/2-2:M 56/v.1-12. These CDs may not
be previewed on the computers near the Reference Desk. They require specialized software.
Cooperative Summary of the Day. C 55.282/2-4:993/v.1-21. These CDs
may not be previewed on the computers near the Reference Desk. They require specialized
software. They are shelved in the Documents Office.
National Climatic Data Center Periodical Publications. C 55.287/63:998/1-3.
The Library has some of the titles on the CD in printed form in the Documents
Stacks. Call numbers begin C 55. Some may also be available at the
Center's Web
site. The CD may be used on computers near the Reference Desk by clicking
on the Adobe Acrobat icon and then opening the desired file. There is
a list of the files on the inside cover of the CD case.
Southern California Bight Damage Assessment. C 55.54:B 48. This CD
may be previewed on the computers near the Reference Desk by clicking on the Adobe
Acrobat icon and opening the file E:SOCADAM.PDF. NOTE: These CDs may only be checked out by St. Mary's
users (or by other college students/faculty/staff with a Texshare card) or
by special arrangement with the Documents
Librarian. The CDs have been tested only minimally
by the Library staff, and we cannot provide technical support in their use.
The Reference Librarians can help you find a source for technical support,
if that information is not given with the CD, or contact the
Documents Librarian for further information.
These CDs are kept in the office, in filing cabinets in the Documents area, filed by Superintent of Documents classification number (given with each title). You might not be able to check out a CD if you come to the library in the evening or on a weekend when the Documents Librarian is not in. If you need to use a CD the best thing to do is to contact the Documents Librarian in advance and the CD can be left at the Reference Desk for you to check out.
