Community Mobility and Dementia; a Review of the Literature. TD 8.64:M 71/CD. Open the file CommMobileandDementia.pdf in Adobe Acrobat.
Emergency Vehicle Operatory Course. TD 8.64:AM 1. Two PDF files comprise the content of the CD. To use on the computers near the Reference Desk, click on the Adobe Acrobat icon then open the desired file.
First Responder: National Standard Curriculum. TD 8.64:R 31/3/CD. Choose the desired PDF file.
Make Your Parties Rock Substance-Free. TD 8.64:2001/2. The contents of the CD is one large PDF file: Parties Rock Planner.PDF. To view it open the file in Adobe Acrobat.
Manufacturers' Instructions for Child Safety Seats. TD 8.64:C 43. A table of contents for this CD, and some of the information on it, is in PDF format. To see the table of contents on the computers near the Reference Desk, click on the Adobe Acrobat icon and opening the file WELCOME.PDF. Some other data on the CD requires special software to access, and this data may not be viewed on the workstation.
National EMS Scope of Practice Model. TD 8.64:EM 3/CD. To use this CD, open EMSScopeofPractice.PDF in Adobe Acrobat if it does not automatically open.
NHTSA Impaired Driving Information Resources. TD 8.64:D 78. This CD should run automatically upon insertion into the CD. If it does not, open the file INDEX.HTML in any web browser. Some of the files on the CD require a media player.
Put the Brakes on the Next Drunk Driver. TD 8.64:D 84/CD. Full use of the CD requires installation of special software, although there are some PDF files on the disk that can be viewed at the Library workstation.
Resource Guide on Laws Related to Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety. TD 8 64: L 44. This CD runs upon insertion, and contains a collection of laws, ordinances and analysis of them, dealing with safety.
School Bus Driver In-Service Safety Series. TD 8.2:SCH 6/9/CD. This CD may be used on the computers near the Reference Desk by clicking on the Adobe Acrobat icon and opening the file WELCOME.PDF.
Seguridad para peatones, ciclistas y autobuses escolares (Pedestrian, Bicycle and School Bus Safety). TD 8.64:P 34/SPAN./ENG. This is an audio CD containing public service announcements. It runs automatically upon insertion in the CD drive.
Speed Management Resources. TD 8 64: SP 3. This CD consists of PDF files, which can be viewed with Adobe Acrobat. There is no index file
Traffic Safety Box. TD 8.64:T 67. This CD may not be previewed on the computers near the Reference Desk; it requires special software.
Traffic Safety Materials Catalog. TD 8.64:C 28/2004. This CD may be used on the computers near the Reference Desk; if the CD does not run upon insertion, click on the Adobe Acrobat icon and open the file 2004_TSM_catalog.PDF.
NOTE: These CDs may only be checked out by St. Mary's users (or by other college students/faculty/staff with a Texshare card) or by special arrangement with the Documents Librarian. The CDs have been tested only minimally by the Library staff, and we cannot provide technical support in their use. The Reference Librarians can help you find a source for technical support, if that information is not given with the CD, or contact the Documents Librarian for further information.
These CDs are kept in the office, in filing cabinets in the Documents area, filed by Superintent of Documents classification number (given with each title). You might not be able to check out a CD if you come to the library in the evening or on a weekend when the Documents Librarian is not in. If you need to use a CD the best thing to do is to contact the Documents Librarian in advance and the CD can be left at the Reference Desk for you to check out.
