NOTE: These are links to only a selected number of U.S. and Texas government databases that are available on the Web. The only databases included are those which are considered substantial research sources; almost all have some kind of search capability unless otherwise noted. Compilation of this
list would have been much more difficult (and probably impossible) without
Bruce Maxwell's wonderful book How to Access the Federal Government on
the Internet. The Library's copy is in Reference (REF TK5105.875.I57
M39 1998) and it includes many sites not on these lists.
