You will find that with this minimal background, you not only know enough to construct respectable pages, but you also have a foundation that will make it easier to learn more complicated HTML features such as lists, tables and frames. Just view the Document (or Page) Source for a page that you like, and go from there. If you see something you don't understand, there are books in the Library and plenty of resources on the web that will take you further in learning about this fascinating new form of writing.
