San Antonio College Learning Resources Center

Attendance: Pat Broome, Amory Irby, Tina Mesa, Tina Petamezas and Kathy Amen.

Our small group had a productive meeting, discussing various cataloging issues and projects and setting the calendar for next year's meetings. SAC has finished completely barcoding their collection, including microfiche, and St. Mary's has finished the record loading and barcoding for their "mini"-retrospective. Kathy hopes to find time this summer to work on a new subject index to documents departments' web pages; if you have any subject pages you particularly like, please let her know. St. Mary's has also asked the Texas Historical Commission to discontinue sending archeological reports, as they are not well-used and take a great deal of time to process. Kathy reports that UTSA will continue to get the reports.

We also patted ourselves on the back--again--for being such good hosts for the FDLC meeting last month. If you have not seen a copy of the Marcive newsletter with pictures from the reception, let Kathy know, she has an extra copy.

Schedule for 2001-2002 meetings:

• September 28 at St. Mary's Blume (Academic)Library
• October 26 at Palo Alto
• December 7 at Trinity's Faculty Club (date, place tentative)
• February 1 [SAPL volunteered to host this meeting]
• March 1
• April 5
• May 10 at San Antonio College

Volunteers to host the February, March and April meetings are needed; these dates can be modified if necessary.
