An informal information exchange opened the meeting, with Tina and Camille giving favorable reports from the recent AMIGOS meeting on electronic documents reference. Camille will bring the list of web sites they handed out to our next meeting.
Kathy is planning to attend the Depository Library Conference in April, at least for a couple of days. Is anyone else going? Let Kathy know.
Tina was interested in what other libraries are doing about internet-only periodicals, and a discussion ensued among people from tape-loading libraries. Trinity puts them in their catalog, with the precise url for the title, but supresses the call numbers for serials. Palo Alto doesn't put them in. Others interested in comparing notes on this increasing problem contact Tina for details.
Kathy promises to work on getting maps to our libraries linked from our web page. She has a few maps, and got some from Claudia today, but has run into some difficulty in getting them scanned and "web-ized" so as to look okay. When some are up, she'll notify the group, so you can look at them and see what you think before we actually make public links to them.
We adjourned to the Library's Multimedia Instructional Center for a demonstration by Kathy of how she uses the Enhanced Shipping List service to produce labels for the documents she receives. A web-page version (somewhat edited and, hopefully, improved from the handout distributed at the meeting) of the presentation can be found at:

Our next meeting will be at SAC on March 13 at 9:00. We tentatively scheduled another meeting for May 1, which will be after the Depository Library Conference. Libraries wishing to host this meeting are invited to apply! We hope that by scheduling meetings far enough in advance, more people will be able to adjust their schedules and attend. So let Kathy know if you would like to host the May meeting, we'll set a definite time, and get the word out.
Respectfully submitted,
Kathleen L. Amen
