E-Competencies and Development of Standards
from the 2002 FDLC
A discussion of e-competancies standards was very interesting. GODORT has been compiling resources dealing the establishment of standards such as these and two GODORT representatives (one of them Amy West again) went over their work. Another librarian from New Jersey, Janie Hassard Hermann, presented that state's current standards program in some detail. And a representative from AALL, Timothy Coggins, gave a report on that organization's standards efforts. I have handouts from all of these presentations.
