American Justice. REF KF 154 .A44 1996.  3 v. Brief articles on terms, cases, crimes, issues and concepts.  Glossary, chronology and index in v. 3.

Guide to American Law. REF KF 156 .G77 1983. 12 v.  Comprehensive coverage of law and legal topics, historical and current.  Some longer articles have bibliographical references.  V. 12 is overall index, plus there are individual indexes in each volume.  Good for major legislation and cases.  Note publication date.

Constitution:

Founders' Constitution. REF KF 4502 .F68 1987. 5 v. Source documents dealing with broad Constitutional issues (e.g., separation of powers) and with individual sections of the Constitution.  Amendments, starting with Bill of Rights, are in v. 5.

Encyclopedia of the Consitution. REF KF 4548 .E53 1986. 4 v. Articles on cases, concepts and people, most with bibliographical references.  Chronology, glossary and both subject and case indexes in v. 4.

Supreme Court:

U.S. Reports (Supreme Court decisions). 1965- . DOC Ju 6.8: Alphabetical table of cases at the beginning, and cursory index at the end, of each volume.  No overall index.

Oxford Companion to the Supreme Court of the U.S. REF KF 8742 .A35 O93 1992. Brief articles on people, cases and concepts.  Appendices include information on Justice nomination and succession, and both a case and topical index.

Supreme Court A to Z: a ready reference encyclopedia. REF KF 8742 .A35 1993. Brief articles on court administration and procedure, people, cases and concepts.

Supreme Court Compendium REF KF 8742 .E68 1994. Lists and statistical information on the Court and its impact.
