  • This service is available only to St. Mary's University students, faculty, and staff.
  • Students, faculty and staff of the Law School must contact the Law Library for Interlibrary Loan Services.
  • If you request an item via ILL, you are responsible for any charges incurred.
  • Allow 10-28 days for delivery.

How to Request a Book

  1. Before making a request for a book or government document, check the Library Catalog to see if the library owns the requested item. For instant access to ebooks, search the Open Library site for ebook lending, or try these other sources of ebooks.
  2. Fill in all the Personal Information sections or your request cannot be processed.
  3. Fill in as much of the Book Information as you can. The more information you fill in and the more correct it is, the more likely you are to receive the article promptly.
  4. Finally, click on Send Request to send your request to the Interlibrary Loan Department.
