LOCATING JOURNALS, MAGAZINES,
& NEWSPAPERS
IN THE BLUME LIBRARY
Combined List of
Periodicals in Print and Online Full Text Periodicals
The Blume
Library provides access to periodicals in many different formats.
We have approximately 700 individual subscriptions which are available
in print or through online subscriptions as indicated in our catalog. A
small number of current titles are also available through microfilm or
microfiche. We have several thousand titles that are
available through our subscription
databases.
Online Full Text Periodicals
You can find a combined alphabetical listing of print and online
titles at http://ur3lv5sj9u.search.serialssolutions.com/ . Off
campus users must use the remote
access server to access full text.
Periodicals in Print
Print titles are listed in the online
catalog (http://regina.stmarytx.edu) and are also listed in Periodicals
in Print a printed list that can be found at the circulation desk,
the reference desk and on the first floor. Print titles are located on
the first floor of the library and are arranged alphabetically.
Microfilm and microfiche are also located on the first floor and are
located in film cabinets in the middle of the room. There is a
photocopier available for microform formats.
Can't find what you need in the Blume Library?
A resource for
finding journal titles in the San Antonio area and throughout the
United States is in Worldcat.
In
the expert search mode San
Antonio area holdings can be located by
typing in L5: SAUL in the large search box. For example ti: Time
and L5: SAUL will bring up libraries in our local area that subscribe
to Time magazine as well as other titles that have the word
"time" in
the bibliographic record.
