Persistent Links (eLibrary Curriculum Edition)

To create persistent links to individual articles in eLibrary Curriculum Edition, follow these steps:

  1. Connect to the eLibrary Curriculum Edition database through the library's databases page
  2. Find an article or other reference in the database
  3. Copy the URL that appears in the browser address bar
  4. Paste the URL into your web page, document, or Blackboard course
  5. Copy the following remote access prefix: http://blume.stmarytx.edu:2048/login?url=
  6. Append (paste) the prefix to the front of the eLibrary Curriculum Edition URL

Example:
http://blume.stmarytx.edu:2048/login?url=http://elibrary.bigchalk.com/libweb/curriculum/do/document?set=search&groupid=
1&requestid=lib_standard&resultid=10&edition=&ts=4623FEA377AB5F16C8DBBE3AD37A81E2_1187039935518&urn
urn%3Abigchalk%3AUS%3BBCLib%3Bdocument%3B137792793

*** Check it out! Copy/paste the new link into your browser address bar to make sure it works (remove any spaces in the URL).***
