Through the end of February, 2011, I did a number of readings and lectures, but neglected to add them. I do have a few upcoming events, beginning with:

March 16, 2011. Reading with StMU Graduate Student CC Hernandez at Barnes & Noble Ingram Plaza. Time: 7 p.m.

My new book, Into the Thicket, should be out from Ink Brush Press soon and I will hacve readings at The Twig and, probably, at Barnes & Noble, La Cantera when that happens.

Salon Mijangos is proud to present a reading by H. Palmer Hall, one of San Antonio’s most prominent literary figures. H. Palmer Hall is the author of six books and chapbooks including From the Periphery: poems and essays; Deep Thicket and Still Waters and To Wake Again. His work has appeared in various literary magazines and anthologies, including North American Review, Ascent, The Texas Observer, Florida Review and many others. Hall was recently nominated for a Pushcart Prize.

He is the library director at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas, where he also teaches poetry and serves as the director of Pecan Grove Press.

A profile of Hall in the newest issue of the Texas Observer describes his readings as “mesmerizing.”
